Customers don’t need to choose a vest size. Just supply us with your Height, Weight, and Waist at Navel (NOT BELTLINE WAIST! Vest belts should be worn centered at navel level to “hip load”) color choices and accessories.
Minimum “waist at navel” size for Men’s is 30″, Women 28″. Women usually wear the belt lower than their narrowest waist measurement.
The basic ballistic vest package price is $399.00 plus $15 shipping to continental US with 2@32 oz water bottles and a couple of component color choices. To Canada vest shipping is $55. Many have us ship to US border towns to save $.
Blaze Vests?
This year’s short run of vests did not include blaze gamebags. The only blaze option this year is the shoulder harness, high on the body where many authorities say it’s most effective.
If you need more Blaze, we suggest a hat or Blaze sleeved shirt for the most effective visibility. The Blaze material on the Gamebag is TenMile cloth, an acrylic material. The harness blaze is a 3M product designed for sewing, that shows blaze in daylight and Silver at night under artificial light.
We’ve stopped putting blaze on Long Pocket flaps due to the extreme wear on the material in this impact zone. Heavier nylons tend to fade very quickly in brighter colors, losing their intensity, so this has not been an option.
Also, Grouse Pockets/Belts are not available at this time.
